Liberty
Rescue Cat, Liberty was born in a car wreckers yard near a busy freeway near Bundoora.
She was found hungry and wanting for love and attention and so befriended another cat who had bonded with a factory owner and which had access to food.
The factory owner brought Liberty in and gave her food and water.
She was only 8 weeks old. She was pretty scared.
After contacting alleykatzaustralia.org supporters, Liberty was put into foster care where she was socialised and cared for.
Eventually we got Liberty desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
"She has such a beautiful nature. So funny and such a soft furry coat she purrs up close.
Thank you so much for all your great work.
Amos and Liberty, Thomastown, Victoria."

Fler
Rescue Cat, Fler, was found to be heavily pregnant and caught up in a warehouse, where the occupiers had vacated. Luckily a roller door had enough bow in it to get mum and her babies through the gap. Thanks to her stressful and persistent meowing she was heard by a passerby who alerted alleykatzaustralia.org supporters.
Fler was unmicrochipped and immediately bonded with her helpers who gave food, drink and medical assistance.
Fler eventually went on to have her kittens in foster care and was then desexed and microchipped.
"I was fortunate to have been lucky to get such a beautiful cat as a playmate for Velly and Sissy. Rescue cats are deserving of a good life too.
Thanks
Helmut, Fawkner"

Pregnant Fler was left in a locked up, unoccupied, warehouse and forgotten. She had 6 kittens in foster care after a bypasser heard her meowing for help and found her.
